Gangrene is a form of cell injury or cell death caused by inadequate blood supply to tissues. This is potentially life-threatening condition may occur due to an injury, illness, infection, or suffering from any chronic health problem like Diabetes. Gangrene is not a communicable disease and was not spread from person to person. Condition of gangrene arises when large areas of tissue die due to a lack of blood supply.
