A sand filter system for the pool is used for water treatment. It filters out impurities from your water, distributes the water care products and ensures a constant water movement. In combination with high-quality water care products, it also ensures a pleasant water quality.
There are Variable Speed Pool Pumpsystems available in the market.
Recommendations for the pool:
Whether you want to install the sand filter system for the pool above the water level or below the water level, we always recommend a filter system with a Hayward Pool Pump. This offers tremendous benefits and is already available for a small additional charge, as you will see below.
Filter systems for pools with 10m³:
Small pools up to 10m³ are really not very demanding. According to the rule, they are circulated within a very short time and require only 2m³ / h of pumping power to be filtered twice in 10 hours. However, you do not get in this order of magnitude a filter system with a Hayward Super Pump, which offers the advantages mentioned.
Filter systems for pools with 20m³:
Larger pools up to 20m³ are a bit more demanding. According to the rule of thumb, a filter capacity of approx. 4 m³ / h is required for the circulation so that the water is filtered twice in 10 hours. But even in this performance class, it is difficult to find a filter system with a Hayward Tristar Pump.
For this reason, we also recommend a sand filter system with a pool pump, as the Pool best with enough power, so you can also operate an effective pool heating and powerful pool suction.
Filter systems for pools with 30m³:
For pools in the order of 30m³, you really need performance. After all, not only should the water be filtered, but also the pool care products should be properly distributed in the water. From a purely mathematical point of view, a pump capacity of at least 6 m³ / h is required for this size. This also rolls the pool water twice in 10 hours. It is recommended to buy Energy Efficient Pool Pump.
However, we recommend for this purpose to choose a slightly larger sand filter system for the pool, so you still have enough buffer for a pool heater and a pool vacuum. If you do not consider this when buying, in the worst case, the entire filter system must be replaced again to retrofit.
